Aurora Terra LLC was founded on the belief that the world’s most complex challenges deserve clearer, more connected solutions.

While completing her Master’s degree at Montana State University, founder Mary O’Flaherty worked at the intersection of remote sensing, geospatial science, and Python-based machine learning. Through hands-on research integrating satellite imagery, atmospheric data, and predictive modeling, she began to see a persistent gap in how states, agencies, and organizations interpret problems and translate insight into action.

Despite the rapid growth of machine learning and geospatial technologies, many decision-makers remain overwhelmed by fragmented datasets and tools that fail to bridge science with real-world application. Aurora Terra LLC was created to close that gap.
